Our organization was started in 1979 to manage apartments for one owner. By offering great service to residents and owners, our portfolio has grown tremendously and we currently manage over 7,000 units for nearly 40 owners and ownership groups.
Job Title: AP/Bookkeeper | Part-Time (30 hrs.\wk)
We are currently looking for candidates with superior organizational skills and attention to detail for our Corporate office in Fresno, CA. The AP/Bookkeeper works under the supervision of the Assistant Controller.
DUTIES:
- Enter accounts payable and process weekly check run.
- Enter deposits; post journal entries as needed
- Maintain accurate records and complete documentation for all transactions.
- Assist with month-end close, including:
Ø account reconciliation, review and reconcile bank statements, make any adjustments to the general ledger if applicable
Ø prepare financial statements and management reports/distribute after final review
- Review Move-Out Statements for Refund or Billing
- Research Projects
- Other Projects as Assigned

§ High School Diploma or Equivalent, AA in accounting preferred but not required
§ MAS 90 preferred/but not required; Will train the right candidate. Entry-level accounting knowledge with at least 1 year work experience in related field.
§ Require problem-solving skills; “Can-Do” attitude; teamwork mentality and ability to multi-task; maintain effective working relationships.
§ Attention to detail and must have good organizational skills
§ Ability to establish and meet time schedules and show flexibility to meet deadlines.
