I hope all FLYP'sters will help me out with this. My co-worker is in Fresno for three days! Sadly, he picked the 1st 100 degree day of Summer '07 to arrive. I was given the task by another co-worker (located in San Francisco) to show co-worker #1 (who is also from San Francisco) around Fresno. He specifically ordered (yes, ordered) me to take him somewhere unique and local to eat. It can be during lunch or dinner. I hope you will all help me out and post some suggestions!



*Local means no Cheesecake Factory, BJ's, etc. etc.

For meat lovers:

Smokehouse grill right next to Bank of the West bldg downtown.  Go there for lunch.

For Thai food:

1.  BK Kitchen - Olive and First

2.  Million Dollar Elephant or Thaipoon - Tower District

For burgers/sanwiches/fries:

1.  Nothing beats Bulldog Grill across Fresno State

For Coffee/Tea:

1.  Javawava and/or Warriors Cafe - across Fresno High

2.  Teazers - tower district

3.  El Galleria Cafe - Downtown Clovis

For elegant dining:

1.  Campagnia

2.  Slates

3.  Five

Thanks Victor!! I haven't tried Million Dollar Elephant so maybe we'll head there today. In the tower, I also enjoy Livingstone's!
