FLYP would like to invite you to join in P.A.L.S. in ChildSpree on July 19th from 7:30am to 9:00 am depending on how long it takes you to help a child spend $100.00 on school clothes and shoes.

Every year, each Mervyns store partners with non-profit organizations and school partners to provide participating underprivileged children with a $100 shopping spree and a 15% discount to purchase new clothes, shoes and accessories. Mervyns' associates are proud to volunteer at this annual event, which has helped thousands of kids go back to school with new clothes and the confidence they need to succeed. A company-wide tradition since 1992, Mervyns' award-winning ChildSpree program has donated more than $18.6 million and served more than 186,000 children.

Mervyns needs our help as volunteers to help children shop for school clothes and shoes. The money is donated by Mervyns and volunteers are asked not to add any of their own money so that it is fair to all of th kids who participate.  They need 25 volunteers so if you are interested please contact Heather Duran by phone (559) 307-1858 or e-mail heather.duran@uboc.com to sign up.
