A Unique Experience
Leadership Fresno is unlike any other leadership program in the Central Valley. The program begins in August with a two-day retreat and concludes with graduation in June. Participants meet in day-long seminars one weekday per month and participate in a class project. The sessions include tours throughout the county and discussions with key speakers on a variety of current topics.

Goals of Leadership Fresno
· To identify current leaders from all areas of the community for leadership roles throughout the greater Fresno area.
· To provide a broad overview of the issues, challenges and opportunities facing our city, county and the greater community.
· To promote access to and dialogue with community leaders.
· To stimulate increased participation and commitment in the community.
Curriculum
Sessions include:
Retreat – 2-day retreat (overnight) set up to allow class members to get to know each other, teambuilding and work on selection of class officers.
The following sessions take place one day a month, generally the last Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, class meetings take place outside the regular class day to work on the class project.
